Scott Henrichsen


Scott Henrichsen is a Washington, DC – based photographer. He is a native of Seattle, and an alumni of James Madison University, where he earned a degree in music.

Scott spent many years as a working jazz club pianist and as a public school music educator. He brings the same artistic sensibilities which informed his music into his photography practice, where careful structure and natural improvisation combine to create exceptional results in lighting, composition, and human pose.

Additionally, years of public performance and working with musicians and students of all ages have given him an effortless, comfortable demeanor with his photographic subjects.The resulting images stand out and work well, making for a long roster of loyal and happy clients.
